- Genuine wood veneer on ¾-inch MDF-core panels with precision mitered joints. Hollow-shell construction; the panel thickness is separate from the finished shelf thickness.
- Dimensions
- Widths: 18–84 in 6-inch steps. Available depths and finished thicknesses depend on width; see the size table below. Use the configurator to select an available combination.
- Finish
- Select an unfinished/stain-ready or offered factory-applied Rubio finish from the choices for this product. Finish availability varies by species. Unfinished wood needs your chosen finishing process before use; factory-finished wood arrives with the selected treatment. Natural grain and color vary.
- What’s included
- One assembled shelf with the selected finish and concealed mounting system. Choose the mounting layout in the configurator: Standard includes the Stinson Mounting System; Single Return includes back-wall and selected-side wood cleats; Wall to Wall includes back-wall and both side-wall wood cleats. The installer must select site fasteners appropriate to the wall substrate and anchorage.
- Price & delivery
- The selected size, finish and options determine the displayed product price. Shipping is additional. The current standard production estimate is approximately one week after the finalized order is accepted; custom work or larger quantities can take longer. Transit time is additional. A 14-inch depth requires at least 3-inch thickness; a 16-inch depth requires at least 4-inch thickness.
Product questions
What does LED light ready include?
The optional $89 upgrade per shelf includes one factory-machined channel, an aluminum channel and a diffuser lens. Choose top front, top rear, bottom front or bottom rear. LED tape, driver, dimmer/controller, wiring and electrical installation are supplied separately. Plan wiring and accessible driver placement before installation. See the LED preparation guide.
Which mounting configuration should I choose?
Choose Standard when both ends remain exposed, Single Return when one end meets a side wall, or Wall to Wall when the shelf fits between two side walls. For Single Return, select left or right as viewed facing the installation wall. Measure at the shelf location and confirm installation clearance before ordering.
How much weight can it support?
Capacity depends on the finished dimensions, wall structure, fasteners, anchorage and how the load is distributed. Drywall alone is not structural support. Share the intended load and wall construction so the installation can be assessed; do not assume a universal weight rating. See load capacity and installation guidance.
How should I care for the finish?
Use indoors in dry conditions. Dust with a soft cloth; when needed, wipe gently with a lightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Avoid standing water, steam, abrasives and harsh solvents. Protect the surface beneath planters and other damp objects. For a field-applied finish, follow the finish manufacturer’s care instructions.

Built with real Rift White Oak wood veneer over an engineered core for a clean, consistent architectural profile. This is not a solid-lumber shelf. Standard mounting uses the Stinson Mounting System; return configurations use wood cleats.

Installation & load capacity
Attach the concealed mounting system to adequate framing, blocking, masonry or another suitable structural substrate. Drywall alone is not structural support. Use fasteners appropriate to the wall and dry-fit the shelf before fastening; do not force it into an out-of-square opening.
Load capacity depends on the shelf dimensions, anchorage and intended use. Review the installation and load guidelines and contact us about your particular wall or load requirements.
Care & maintenance
Use indoors in dry locations. Finish paint-ready MDF before use. Dust finished shelves with a soft cloth; clean gently with a lightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Follow the applicable finish manufacturer’s instructions. Avoid standing water, steam, abrasives, harsh solvents, ammonia and concentrated heat. Never use a shelf as a seat, step or grab bar.
Shipping & delivery
Floating shelves ship factory assembled from Phoenix, Arizona. Product pricing does not include freight unless expressly stated; shipping is calculated separately at checkout or quoted for project orders. Transit and delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees.
Inspect the shipment promptly on arrival. If the carton or product is damaged, photograph the shipping label, exterior packaging, internal packaging, and product damage before discarding materials, then contact Gentry Stinson promptly. Retain packaging until any freight claim is resolved.
Configured and made-to-order products are produced to the dimensions, surface, finish, and options selected for the order. Warranty & project orders
