Overlay Door Styles
An "overlay door" is a cabinet door or drawer face that sits completely on top of the cabinet frame when closed, covering the entire opening of the cabinet box. A "full overlay" means only the door itself is visible and no part of the frame shows. A "partial overlay" leaves a small margin of the cabinet frame visible around the cabinet door or drawer face.
Drawer Boxes
Rabbeted and dovetail drawer boxes each offer unique benefits in cabinet construction. Rabbeted drawers are crafted with simple, clean joints that are cost-effective and sturdy, making them a popular choice for many applications. Dovetail drawers feature interlocking joints that provide exceptional strength and durability, often considered a mark of premium craftsmanship. Both styles are expertly built to ensure lasting quality and performance.
